This year, 114 students were admitted to the College, which is more than in previous years, bringing the current student population to 327. Rector Gábor Karsai welcomed the new students in his speech and accepted them as students during the traditional incense-burning ceremony, which was held in the stupa garden this year. The opening ceremony, accompanied by a church service, took on another special dimension: those gathered walked counterclockwise around the old dormitory building, which currently houses the church office, the BuddhaFM studio, and college classrooms, where demolition, reinforcement, and extension work will begin on September 22.
