The 2020 and 2021 Dharma Gate Fehér Judit Special Awards were presented.
The award, named after our colleague and friend who passed away in 2019, is presented each year to the authors of the best theses. Unfortunately, last year’s award ceremony was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, so this year, to make up for it, a double award ceremony was held.
The awards were presented by Gábor Karsai, rector of the Dharma Gate Buddhist College, followed by László Mireisz (president of the Dharma Gate Buddhist Church), Zoltán Cser (director of the Dharma Gate Buddhist Church), and Attila Márton Farkas (president of the DGBC Scientific Council) talked with the award winners about their theses, their college studies, and the experiences, memories, and lessons they gathered during their years at the college.
During the conversation, Gábor Karsai drew particular attention to the joyful development that, as the titles of the theses indicate, the award-winning theses covered a very wide range of topics.
