Record number of applicants at Dharma Gate

On May 20 and 21, 2021, we held admission interviews for our programs starting in the 2021/22 academic year.

We can already say with certainty that this is the first time in the history of the College that all places on our BA evening courses for the following year have been filled during the spring admissions period, so we will definitely not be announcing any supplementary admissions for this course format in August this year. Sixty percent more applicants than the specified number of places applied for our most popular program.
The number of applicants for our other programs has also increased, as more and more people want to learn about Buddhism, the Buddha’s teachings, and the religious philosophy program offered by the College. >The number of applicants has increased, with more and more people wanting to learn about Buddhism, the teachings of Buddha, the religious philosophy program offered by the college, or a foreign language closely related to Buddhism.

Overall, it can be said that there was a record number of applicants compared to previous years: nearly twice as many people applied for the courses starting in the 2021/22 academic year at the Dharma Gate Buddhist College as for the previous 2020/21 academic year.
