On September 7, 2024, the first-year students of A Tan Kapuja Buddhist College took part in the opening ceremony of the academic year.
The academic year was opened by Gábor Karsai, rector of the college, Antal Dobosy, professor at The Gate of Knowledge, and Zoltán Cser, director of the church. Gábor Karsai and Zoltán Cser gave short speeches at the opening ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, the first-year students were welcomed as students of the college with the lighting of candles and incense.
A total of 165 students were admitted to the Tan Kapuja Buddhist College for the 2023/24 academic year, which is in line with the very high enrollment figures of previous years. We are particularly pleased that 40 students were successfully admitted to our daytime program.
Number of students admitted to our various programs:
– Full-time BA (undergraduate): 40
– Evening BA (undergraduate): 87
– correspondence BA (undergraduate program) in Mánfa: 15 students
– distance learning BA (undergraduate program): 17 students
– evening MA (master’s program): 6 students
