About us
About us
Our school was established in 1991 - as a higher education institution of the Tan Kapuja Buddhist Church - with the aim of making the teachings of the extremely diverse and rich Buddhist tradition available to the public in Hungary as well. Not only do we wish to satisfy the needs of a narrow religious circle, but we also want to add color to the domestic cultural palette, with the conviction that the basic principles of Buddhism are close to both Hungarian and European spirituality.
