Wi-Fi Network

This network is designed for students and the communities of the Church. Network resources are available with some limitations. The network security is ensured through the WPA-EAP protocol, which includes MS-CHAP v2 authentication. The maximum available bandwidth on this network is limited (10Mbps download, 2Mbps upload), but the maximum transferable data volume is unlimited. Additionally, there are no time limits. Student access remains active as long as the user has valid student status.

Computer Room

The computer room currently has 10 computers available for student use. The machines run on Windows 10 (64-bit), with Office 2013 and some basic applications installed. Printing is directed to the Lexmark T652DN printer in the room, with a printing counter in place. Each computer in the room is equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor, Asus H81M-A motherboard, 4GB RAM, and a Samsung 120GB SSD. The computers are connected to 19″ monitors.

Access to the System

Access to the TKBF network and use of the computer room is subject to authentication. A registered user ID on the central server is required for this. For students with valid student status, the user ID (Neptun code and password) is automatically provided. When connecting to Wi-Fi, authentication needs to be completed once on each device; thereafter, the network will associate the user with the device’s MAC address. During the first login, the system will prompt for the acceptance of a certificate, which must be accepted.
