Dear Incoming Student,

Student status is established upon enrollment, based on the decision regarding admission or transfer.

Enrollment period: only at the beginning of the first semester or upon transfer.

Enrollment is initiated by completing and signing the enrollment form. In addition to other attachments required by law, the following must be included with or attached to the form, depending on the financial type of the program:

  • For applicants admitted to a Hungarian state-funded program, a declaration as per point 10 of Annex 9 of the Nftvhr., confirming that the applicant has read and accepts the conditions of the Hungarian state-funded education as defined in the Nftv.;

  • For self-financed students or those reclassified as such, a student training contract is required.

In all subsequent semesters, the student must register in Neptun to declare whether they intend to continue their studies for that semester.

Enrollment for first-year students consists of the following steps:

  • Online enrollment,

  • Online payment of fees (registration fee, tuition),

  • In-person administration.

1. Online Enrollment

As part of the electronic enrollment process, students must log in to the electronic academic system (hereinafter: Neptun) using the student ID (Neptun code) and password provided in the admission decision.
After verifying personal data and uploading any missing information, the enrollment form must be completed in the system.
Once printed and signed, the form is then submitted during in-person enrollment.

Before starting the online enrollment process, please prepare the documents related to the following data:

  • Personal information

  • Contact details

  • Official data (social security number, tax identification number)

  • Bank account number

  • Identification documents (ID card, passport)

  • Prior education documents (secondary school graduation certificate, college or university diploma)

  • Language exam details (certificate)

  • Special consideration documents (expert opinion)

2. Online Payment of Fees (Registration Fee, Tuition Fee)

Enrollment in all program formats is conditional upon the payment of the 5,000 HUF registration fee, which must be settled through the Neptun system by the end of the registration period.
The tuition fee must also be paid via Neptun by the end of the registration period.

(Different deadlines apply for students using the Student Loan. If you plan to pay your tuition fee through a Student Loan, please notify the Academic Office staff during enrollment.)

A transfer to the College’s collective account can be initiated at any time; however, the amount will appear on the student balance in Neptun no earlier than the following day, provided that the student’s Neptun code (NK-neptun-kód) has been entered in the correct format in the reference field of the transfer.

A bank transfer to the College’s collective account does not in itself settle the debt!
To clear a financial obligation, the amount assigned in Neptun (tuition, other fees) must be paid from the student balance by the due date.

3. In-Person Enrollment

Enrollment is only possible on the pre-scheduled dates and times; unfortunately, no additional dates can be provided for late enrollment.
Anyone who does not enroll—that is, who does not establish a student status with the College—forfeits their admission and the opportunity to pursue studies.
Therefore, participation in the enrollment process is mandatory, either in person or through an authorized representative.

Required Documents:

  • Personal ID card (for foreign citizens: passport and residence permit)

  • Address card

  • Tax identification card

  • Social security card (TAJ)

  • Secondary school graduation certificate, diploma (college or university)

  • 1 recent ID photo with your name and NEPTUN code written on the back

Bring the following as well, if applicable:

  • Language exam certificate

  • Expert opinion (if you are a student with disabilities)

  • Certification of previously used state-funded semesters, if the actual number of used semesters differs from the presumed number.

During the registration period, the Academic Office is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
If you would like to come at a specific time, it is recommended that you schedule an appointment in advance with the Academic Office: to@tkbf.hu

Other information

You can manage your academic affairs in person at the Academic Office, with the study administrator responsible for your program, during the office hours listed at https://www.tkbf.hu/hallgatoknak/ugyintezes/.
However, most administrative tasks must be completed electronically and independently via Neptun.
These include:

  • Updating personal information

  • Semester registration

  • Course registration

  • Exam sign-up

  • Checking messages

  • Monitoring financial obligations, etc.

Detailed information on how Neptun works can be found on the student web interface under the Neptun Documentation menu.

If you do not yet have access to the Ügyfélkapu (Client Gate) system, please make sure to complete the registration at a Document Office (Okmányiroda) prior to enrollment, as the Educational Authority will primarily communicate with you electronically.

The fundamental rights and responsibilities of students are defined by Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education (Nftv.) and the related legislation. Based on these laws, the College has developed its own Student Requirements System (HKR), which contains detailed academic regulations.
Annex 1 of the HKR constitutes the Study and Examination Regulations, which govern your academic life from the very first moment as a student.

The current, valid versions of all regulations are available at:
