The curriculum is structured around three main parts:

  1. Humanities & Religious Studies (15–30 ECTS) — foundational philosophical, religious, and linguistic studies.

  2. Core Curriculum (110–140 ECTS) — central Buddhist philosophy, meditation, scriptural studies, branches such as Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna, and applied Buddhism.

  3. Specialised Studies (30–40 ECTS) — deeper work in meditation, religious history, philosophy, technical Buddhist terminology, and reading of original Pāli/Tibetan texts.

Beyond disciplinary knowledge and skills, the curriculum also emphasises general competencies: digital literacy, communication skills, self-management, and foreign language proficiency (including specialized Buddhist terminology).
