BA in Buddhist Theory and Practice
In the Buddhist education system, the Middle Way or the Noble Eightfold Path is the defining principle. Striving for the harmony of theory and practice, the goal is for the acquired knowledge to become experience through practice, and then for the experiences to be integrated into everyday life. The aim of the bachelor's degree is to get to know oneself through the acquisition of the right attitude, skills and knowledge, to understand one's current existence and life situation through the acquisition and practice of Buddhist methods, to find one's own place in the world, and ultimately to manage oneself properly. Practical classes and seminars are therefore often linked to the theoretical training.
