The cooperation agreement between the two institutions has only just been signed, but the relationship is long-standing.
The dean of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Agata Bareja-Starzyńska, Ph.D. Habil. a Tibetologist, has long had a good relationship with our colleagues, and thanks to this, the two institutions have signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA 131 program. The cooperation also includes participation in teacher, staff, and student exchange programs, so in the spring of 2026, our students who are particularly interested in Mongolian, Tibetan Sanskrit, and Japanese language and culture will be able to spend their “Erasmus semester” at the University of Warsaw. In addition to discussing the details of international cooperation (Dr. Orsolya Hoffmann and Melinda Molnár), our colleagues Dr. Zsuzsa Majer and Dr. László Kenéz gave a short, inspiring presentation to Polish students. Hopefully, we will see interested students from Poland joining us in the coming semesters.
