As part of the College’s institutional accreditation procedure in English this year, the site visit panel of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (HAC), composed of internationally recognised experts, carried out an on-site infrastructure visit at Dharma Gate Buddhist College on 12 November.
The panel held a meeting with the leadership of the institution, inspected the College’s educational, student and administrative infrastructure, and reviewed the services supporting teaching.
The Dharma Gate Buddhist College is the first religious higher education institution in Hungary to undergo an institutional accreditation procedure in English.
We would like to express our gratitude to the members of the site visit panel: Dr Péter Levente Lakatos, Director General of HAC; Dr Szilveszter Füsti-Molnár, Chair of the panel (Reformed Theological University of Sárospatak); Dr István Pásztori-Kupán (János Selye University); Dr Ágnes Tolnai (Károli Gáspár University); Patrick Van den Bosch (Head of VLUHR QA, the Quality Assurance Agency of the Flemish Higher Education Council); Natalia Wiktoria Greniewska (European Students’ Union); and Judit Tarsoly (MAB International Coordinator).
